Indoor Dog Gym

Zoom Room is an indoor dog training gym where you and your dog learn together, side by side, in small group classes led by professional trainers. No drop-offs. No kennels. No chaos. Just a clean, climate-controlled space built for one thing: making dogs and their people better together.

We use only positive reinforcement — the training method recommended by every major veterinary behavioral organization. You'll learn the techniques in class and practice them at home, on walks, at the park, and everywhere else your dog goes with you.

What Happens Inside a Dog Gym

Every Zoom Room is equipped with a full agility course, professional training floor, a curated retail shop stocked with trainer-approved gear, and a lobby designed to feel more like a coffee shop than a waiting room (the fair-trade coffee is free, by the way).

Training classes run throughout the day, every day. Group sizes are small — typically six to eight dogs — so trainers can give real attention to every team. You'll move through a skills-based progression at your own pace. No rigid six-week commitments. More like a gym: come when it works for you, work on what you need.

Classes include:

• Obedience — from puppy basics through advanced off-leash work
• Agility — tunnels, jumps, weave poles, and full coursework
• Puppy training — starting as young as 8 weeks, with built-in socialization
• Scent work — nose-driven detection games that exhaust a dog's brain
• Tricks and enrichment — because a mentally stimulated dog is a well-behaved dog
• Therapy dog preparation — for dogs heading toward certification
• Urban herding — yes, it's a thing, and dogs love it

Beyond classes, Zoom Room offers supervised playgroups (off-leash socialization with vaccinated, screened dogs and a trainer in the room), private gym sessions (30 minutes of the gym to yourself — our alternative to the dog park), and dog parties for birthdays, adoption anniversaries, or any excuse to celebrate.

Why Indoor Matters

Weather doesn't cancel your dog's needs. An indoor gym means training happens year-round — no mud, no heat stroke, no frozen parking lots. But the real advantage is environmental control.

A dog gym is a distraction-rich environment by design. Other dogs, other people, novel sounds, agility equipment, movement. Your dog learns to focus, settle, and respond to you in exactly the kind of environment they'll face in the real world. That's what builds a confident dog — not practicing "sit" alone in your living room.

The indoor setting also means every dog in the room has been screened and is current on vaccinations. That's a safety standard no public dog park can match.

The Gym Membership Model

Most dog training is sold as a course: six weeks, a certificate, done. The problem is that training isn't a course. It's a practice. Dogs need ongoing reinforcement, continued socialization, and new challenges to stay sharp.

Zoom Room works like a gym membership. You buy class credits or a pass, attend when you want, and build training into your weekly rhythm. Many of our clients have been coming for years — not because their dogs still need "fixing," but because the gym is part of their routine. A dog park is unstructured and unsupervised. Daycare is drop-off. A dog gym is something different: a place where you and your dog show up together, work together, and leave better than you came in.
